Terms & Conditions
Please read this carefully. When you book your holiday with us you are entering into a contract which binds you and us in various ways, you are therefore agreeing to the following terms.
You’ll see we have clearly set out the booking conditions with a list of responsibilities and commitments we and you have towards each other.
Caravan Bookings T’s & C’s
1.Bookings are accepted online, by telephone or email and must be accompanied by a deposit of £100.00 per week booked (THIS DEPOSIT IS NON-REFUNDABLE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE), unless making a Non-refundable booking that is due to commence within 6 weeks and then payment in full, deposit and balance, is required.
2.The balance of the tariff must be payed 42 days (6 weeks) before commencement date of your holiday. No reminders are sent. Failure to make such payment will be treated as cancellation without notification and may result in the caravan being re-let without communication to yourself.
3.All bookings are from 4.00 p.m. on day of arrival, (no arrivals after 9.00 pm unless agreed in advance) to 9.30 a.m. on day of departure. Please do not arrive on site earlier than the above check-in time as you will not be permitted entry (but feel free to call ahead and if your caravan is ready for you, we will of course grant you access).
4.You as the hirer are responsible for the contents of the caravans during your break. Any and all damages and/or breakages must be reported to reception and paid for.
5.In the interest of hygiene bed linen must us used at all times, the onus is on the customer to ensure linen is used on beds by all party members. Linen is hireable from reception if required (please inform us upon booking or contact us 7 days in advance of your holiday commencement date to hire bed linen).
6.The accommodation is to be used only by those persons listed on the booking form. Our licence states that the total number of persons using the caravan, including children, shall not exceed the number of beds (ie; 4 in a 2 bedroomed caravan, 6 in a 3 bedroomed caravan). Breach of this condition will result in payment in full and immediate eviction from the site.
7.All accommodation and equipment provided is to be left, as found, in a clean and tidy condition. If caravans are not left in a suitable state of cleanliness on departure, or our request for ‘NO SMOKING’ in caravans has been breached, we reserve the right to ask you to leave immediately and make a cleaning and or de-fumigation charge of £25 which will be debited from your payment method provided. You will be informed of this should it occur.
8.Please remember that when you make a caravan booking, you are entering into a contract. If you have to cancel your booking 6 weeks or less before your arrival date, you will be responsible for the full cost of your accommodation. We recommend having holiday cancellation insurance.
Bed & Breakfast Bookings T’s & C’s
9.All bookings are from 3.00 p.m. on day of arrival, (no arrivals after 9.00 pm unless agreed in advance) to 10.30 a.m. on day of departure. Please do not arrive on site earlier than the above check-in time as you will not be permitted entry (but feel free to call ahead and if your room is ready for you, we will of course grant you access).
10.You as the hirer are responsible for the contents of the guest room during your break. Any and all damages and/or breakages must be reported to reception and paid for.
11.The guest rooms are to be used only by those persons listed on the booking form. Breach of this condition will result in payment in full and immediate eviction from the site. We reserve the right to terminate the visit of any person whose conduct is detrimental to the comfort of others. Please respect other guests and keep noise to a minimum after 10.00pm.
12.We have a ‘NO SMOKING’ policy here at Pinewood. If this has been breached, we reserve the right to terminate your stay and ask you to leave immediately, we may also make a cleaning and or de-fumigation charge of £25 which will be debited from your payment method provided. You will be informed of this should it occur. No candles or naked flames are permitted in the rooms.
13.Please remember that when you make a booking, you are entering into a contract. If you have to cancel your B&B booking 48 hours or less before your arrival date, you will be responsible for the full cost of your accommodation. We recommend having holiday cancellation insurance.
14.Wi-Fi is provided for B&B guests free of charge however we cannot always guarantee a consistent service.
General Guest T’s & C’s
15.Pinewood is a family friendly park therefore bookings can only be accepted from family groups and couples, we do not accept bookings from groups, single sex groups or persons under 18 years of age. Please note: We are an allergen free site, and as such we do not accept any pets.
16.If you have not arrived by 9am the morning after your holiday was due to commence, or contacted us to confirm when you will arrive, we will treat the holiday as cancelled and the total holiday costs will be retained in full.
17.We disclaim any liability for losses or injury sustained by guests or their property, except where negligence on the part of ourselves or our staff is proven.
18.We reserve the right to terminate any holiday or request any person or persons to leave for breach of above conditions
Events Outside of Our Control
We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform or provide, or delay in performance or providing of, any of our obligations under these terms that is caused by an Event Outside Our Control.
19.An Event Outside Our Control means any act or event beyond our reasonable control, including without limitation, strikes, industrial action by third parties, civil commotion, riot, invasion, terrorist attack or threat of terrorist attack, war (whether declared or not) or threat or preparation for war, fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, subsidence, epidemic, global pandemic or other natural disaster and to include Local Council instruction, Government instruction or any Government involvement which may affect our responsibilities.
20.If an Event Outside Our Control takes place that affects the performance of our obligations under these Terms:
We will contact you as soon as reasonably possible to notify you; and
Our obligations under these terms will be suspended and the time for performance of our obligations will be extended for the duration of the Event Outside Our Control. Where the Event Outside Our Control affects our performance of services to you, we will restart the services as soon as reasonably possible after the Event Outside Our Control is over.
You may cancel the contract (more than 42 days before commencement of your holiday) if an Event Outside Our Control takes place and you no longer wish us to provide the services. Should you wish to cancel then please refer to the cancellation terms of your contract.
If we have to cancel the contract due to an Event Outside Our Control and are unable to provide the services then cancellation terms apply; any holidays due to commence within 42 days (6 weeks) or any holidays paid in full are non-refundable and non-transferable, for any other bookings as always deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Pinewood B&B and Holiday Park reserves the right to change or amend these Terms & Conditions without prior notice.
Parking is limited at Pinewood, although each caravan and B&B guest room is allocated a parking space, caravan numbers 1 & 8 having designated bays in close proximity to the caravan for less able occupants. Additional parking is available but is limited and will be allocated on a first booked first reserved basis, failure to inform us of your needs could result you having to find off-site parking, should you require an additional space. Please indicate your requirements when booking. Please note there is no CCTV of our car park area and you are therefore parking your car at your own risk, we do not accept any liability for damage or theft to vehicles. We only advise that you do not leave valuable in your vehicle overnight.
If during your stay you wish to entertain day visitors, please inform us beforehand. We do endeavour to accommodate everyone and ask for your cooperation in this matter.
